Our Story

CRC Churches International began in Adelaide in 1945, when Ps Leo Harris commenced meetings during a significant move of God’s Spirit.

From humble beginnings, the work quickly grew, with new churches and outreaches established across South Australia and Victoria. By the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Adelaide church—then known as the Adelaide Crusade Centre—had become the largest Pentecostal church in Australia.

What began through the pioneering ministry of Ps Leo Harris developed into the movement originally known as the Christian Revival Crusade, and today as CRC Churches International.

From the beginning, the CRC has carried a strong commitment to reaching people, developing leaders, strengthening local churches and multiplying ministry.

That same heart sits behind CRC College today.

CRC College continues this legacy by providing practical ministry training that helps local churches develop their own people—building biblical foundations, developing ministry capability and preparing emerging leaders to serve, lead and multiply ministry.

For more than 30 years, training and developing people has been a core part of Ps Phil and Norma Cayzer’s ministry within the local church.

After joining the CRC Churches International movement, their passion for ministry training continued to grow. Over the years, they have helped establish hundreds of Bible schools around the world, with thousands of graduates going on to serve and build fruitful ministries.

Now, they have brought together decades of experience, resources and practical ministry training into CRC College; giving local churches a proven framework they can implement in their own context to develop people, strengthen ministry and continue the legacy of training within the CRC.

CRC College officially launched across Australia in 2026, with more than 100 learners across 15 cohorts in our first year; including local churches, individual learners and schools.

As we head into 2027, we’re excited to see more local cohorts and communities embrace the local training, creating more opportunities for people to be trained, equipped and released into ministry.
